Senior Technical Writer with a strong background in developing technical documentation such as user's guide, programmer's guide, and reference manual for commercial software products.

Qualified candidate must have the ability to participate in the product development process with the product team (including Engineering, QA, Marketing), use and test software products, give feedback and input on user interface and design.


REQUIREMENTS:

? BA/BS in Technical Communications, English, Computer Science or 3-5 years related working experience.

? Expert level writing ability within a computer/software development based environment. Proven ability to write, edit, and/or revise a range of technical communications from specifically compiled raw data.

? 3 -5 years experience in planning and production of technical user guides.

? 2 -4 years advanced hands-on knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Web services, client services, HTML, Extensible Markup Language (XML), or Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP).

? Must have excellent documentation and experience in communicating with all levels of the organization. Proven experience in investigating and studying material through examination of systems, diagrams, and interviews.

? Proficient with online documentation and document control techniques. (RoboHelp, FrameMaker and Acrobat preferred. Visio, Photoshop and DreamWeaver a plus.)

? 2-4 years experience in writing commercial grade technical documentation for commercial software products and/or software development tools.

? 2-4 years experience writing documentation for internet-based technologies, Web and application servers, client-server applications and technologies, XML, Java or .NET applications.df-tc
