Description
Local company seeks a Senior Tester for a 7 month contract in Colorado Springs, CO. Required skills: Must be able to read, execute and create scripts in KSH, BSH, PERL and Python. Must be able to navigate in the UNIX and LINUX environments - be able to use basic UNIX commands - grep, cd, find. Must be able to use VI/VIM editors and be familiar with XML and XSLT. Must have experience with Mercury Products: includes knowing how to upload data into QC, Quick Test Pro scripting, executing and trouble shooting. Candidate needs to excel in oral and written communication, be able to work well in a team oriented setting, and be experienced in using the Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project applications. Person should be able to work for an extensive time on tedious tasks related to validation of test cases results. The Test objectives: executing test cases, gathering and posting results, generating and retesting defects, and creating scripts that will assist in execution and validation of thousands of test cases until official tool (BCT) is completed.
