Description
A Global Financial Firm located in Jersey City, New Jersey has an immediate Contract opportunity for a Senior UI Developer/Designer.

This position will work on the integration of the application in the re-engineering effort of conversion of Application based on Service Oriented Architecture and a .Net/SharePoint front end.   Key Responsibilities:            Primary responsibilities will be to lead the design for developing application to be accessed via  corporate banking Portal.          Integration of components being developed by subsystem teams and ensuring that the system runs as whole in accordance with specifications.           Hands-on UI developer with strong debugging and problem analysis skills and will be a key member of the team.   Candidate Qualifications:  

A senior technical resource adept in developing Web applications and UI Frameworks based on .NET in a Sharepoint-hosted environment.

2 Should have string hands-on coding skills and design skills and knowledge of building UI Frameworks

                           3 ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server 2005, SharePoint 2007, .NET CLR, Windows 
                            Workflow Foundation, AJAX, Telerik Controls, etc.

4 String experience in Web services and SOA architecture and experience in developing SharePoint-hosted apps.

5 Experience with Authentication and Authorization in a portal environment is preferred.

6 Experience working in a migrating large application UI from Java to other UI technologies including .Net, SharePoint or Flex is preferred.

7 Capable of designing technical solutions based on FRDs and ad-hoc Business Requests.

8 Should be able to assess performance & scalability impacts of proposed solutions

9 Should be able to provide technical guidance & trouble-shooting assistance to other team members

10 Will be responsible for writing the Technical Design Document, performing Code Reviews and suggesting Code optimizations

11 Soft Skills (concepts) include: distributed transaction processing, non-stop processing, test-driven design, database migration strategies, work-flow systems, excellent analytical ability, and experience in analyzing and defining technical requirements from business documentation.

Non-technical skills:   Non-technical skills:            Strong in technology concepts and technology best practices          Excellent oral and written communication skills          Excellent debugging and problem solving skills          Knowledge of Development in banking/Cash Management is preferred          High level of initiative          Must be a team playerdf-tc
