Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Senior UNIX Manager to join our team in Woonsocket, RI.

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior UNIX Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day activities of an 11 person UNIX team. They will provide project coordination and resource management in a multi-project environment for a large chain drug customer. They will coordinate support for mission critical business systems to meet SLA requirements. They will review, approve and implement architecture change within the UNIX environment.

Required Skills:
  • Systems Administration background in an AIX and/or Solaris environment
  • 5 or more years of technical team leadership experience
  • Ability to coordinate multiple team projects in a fast paced environment
  • Understanding of connectivity requirements to EMC disk and virtual tape environments

    Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of connectivity requirements to EMC disk and virtual tape environments
  • Ability to provide direction to leveraged storage team

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • BA/BS
