Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a Senior UNIX Systems Administrator to join our team in Stamford, CT.

Job Responsibilities:
Perot Systems is seeking a Systems Integration Senior Specialist to:

* Configure, install, and maintain client/server solutions

* Support the UNIX on call hot line by processing trouble tickets and request for service tickets

* Diagnose and solve system, server, workstation and network problems quickly

* Identify procedures that can be automated and write the programs in an admin scripting language such as Perl or C shell

* Able to react quickly and handle multiple tasks

* On Call and weekend work

Required Skills:

  • 5-7 years Sr. UNIX Sys Admin Exper

  • Sun Hardware and Software

  • Linux,Red Hat


Desired Skills:

  • scripting, ODS, veritas, SANs

  • Understanding of SUN/Linux OS and internals

  • Financial Industry Experience
