Senior User Experience Designer

• Plan and design engaging user interfaces for TV set-top boxes, personal media players, and other hand-held and in-wall devices used to control electronic systems in a home.
• Create, develop, and implement user interaction design while modeling the design throughout the product development process.
• Conduct human factors evaluations, consultations, and iterative usability testing throughout the product development cycle, providing actionable recommendations to designers, marketing, and engineers.
• Be self-motivated and take leadership and ownership of the Human Factors and Usability aspects of products being developed.
• Be able to present analyses and design recommendations in a compelling manner.
• Establish yourself as a direct consultant to Product Marketing teams.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years as a human-factors practitioner and usability evaluation specialist.
• Deep understanding of Human Behavioral Sciences demonstrable by current experience, training, or course-work.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience designing user interfaces for TV set-top boxes, wireless touch screen devices, mobile phones, or kiosks in the consumer electronics field or related.
