Senior User Interaction Designer Location: San Francisco, CAJob Description:Senior User Interaction Designer who shares our passion for developing award winning products.Job DescriptionAs the GoldMail UI Designer, you will play a key role in the design of our Desktop Composer, Flash Player,and Web product lines. The designer will be responsible for researching, designing, and prototyping new user experiences, creating design mockups, and writing functional specifications. The designer will take a very visible, senior role within the company as an advocate for User Experience. You will work closely withour product marketing and engineering team to establish a design process that emphasizes user-centered design and design iteration and refinement.Strong candidates should have experience thinking in terms of end-to-end UI design, applying strategic thinking and business goals to designs, focusing on user feedback, and understanding the relation of visual design to the interaction. The Senior UI Designer will be responsible for delivering all aspects of design from initial concepts to working with engineering on implementation.Role & Responsibilities*
  • Reporting to the VP, Product Management*
  • Participate in the product definition process with the Product Manager, Engineering Manager and*
  • User Research. Drive the clarification of the user tasks and objectives.*
  • Develop design mockups, usage scenarios, prototypes, specifications, navigation maps, style guidelines, and other design documents.*
  • Supervise the design of visual and graphic elements to ensure coherency and brand consistency.*
  • Address visual problems and provides solutions to each problem.*
  • Develop expert-level knowledge of competitive and complementary products and bring new ideas to the team.df-tc
