Looking for a Strong Vax Cobol Programmer. Experience with Oracle rdb as well as old fashioned ISAM databases. Experience with Payroll or Accounting Systems greatly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Determines and documents system requirements
Develops specifications for new systems and system changes using creative skills and abilities.
Develops code, tests, debugs and installs applications.
Coordinates the efforts of various groups required to complete project tasks.
Recommends and develops procedural changes required for project implementation.
Reviews and approves technical and operational work products.
Ensures compliance to departmental standards.
Leads and directs other developers. df-tc

Experience/Skills
Job Requirements:
* Minimum 7 years of VAX programming exp
* Minimum 5 years working with financial applications
* Excellent Communication skills
