Description
Our client is an internationally prestigious software corp. seeking a Senior PM to drive critical business initiatives.

The Senior Program Manager will support the manufacturing workstream, including development and implementation of the global cross team manufacturing requirements from business case through implementation. This position will drive a virtual project team using project team meetings, minutes, follow-up and tracking to deliver approved scope, on schedule and within budget. The individual holding this position must be capable of both working within the technical community and communicating technical manufacturing concepts to senior executives in Operations. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate across teams to help drive a pragmatic business case solution.

The Senior Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:
  • Drive development of detailed requirements
  • Drive project plan development and milestone definition and achievement
  • Drive project deliverables, including project plan updates, issue log updates, process flows, requirements documentation and risk mitigation
  • Drive an expedited solution for the project
  • Manage project websites, status report updates, and other communications processes and tools
  • Drive project status and other large group meetings
  • Manage project events (training, time boxes, etc.) and project travel
  • Develop RFP requirements and coordinate submission to prospective suppliers as needed
  • Manage issues logs, coordinate weekly team status meetings, issue weekly status reports
  • Provide cross-team collaboration between Operations, Business Group, and Service Providers
  • Perform cost-benefit financial analysis, develop cost-requirements for project and manage expenses against budget/funding
  • Identify incremental business or process requirements in support of the program

Experience/Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years project or program management experience
  • Specific manufacturing experience and/or technical background
  • Successful prior experience in project management in very fast-paced environments
  • Prior people management experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in driving complex issues to closure
  • Strong cross group collaboration skills, both one-on-one and in large group meetings
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office tools preferred, particularly PowerPoint
