POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Web Analyst is a member of the Knowledge Management ( KM ) / Web Services division in the Information Technology ( IT ) department. The purpose of the position is to analyze, maintain, support, and provide training on firm internet and intranet technologies. Key components of this position are technical analysis skills, positive customer service skills, and facilitating effective combinations of business needs and web technologies.

The Senior Web Analyst is responsible for assigned daily internet / intranet technology operations, project management responsibilities, assigned user and management communications, briefings and presentations, and the supervision of associate rank developers as identified by the Website Technical Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Maintain production and development internet / intranet environments for content authors, editors, publishers and users.
-Train on the use of internet / intranet technologies and tools which support business information publishing needs.
-Perform system administration of content management systems and related technologies (content management software, web server, etc.).
-Provide technical support on assigned internet / intranet technologies and tools and coordinate support needs with other divisions within the IT department.
-Provide excellent customer service to all internet and intranet users (authors, editors, publishers, management, and end users).
-Develop effective web technologies and tools that support business information publishing needs.
-Provide mentoring and professional guidance - primarily functional and some technical - to members of the KM / Web Services team as assigned by the Website Technical Manager.
-Perform testing and full quality assurance analysis of work products prior to release to production use.
-Write complete documentation of web technologies and tools, including all projects.
-Responsible for daily operations of firm web technologies and tools in the publishing of firm internet and intranet websites.
-Provide content publishing assistance in the application of best practices of KM and internet / intranet use.
-Perform exception reporting of issues / problems / customer needs as they occur to IT management.
-Provide proactive response to identified training, technical support, and customer service needs in line with IT management and business guidelines.
-Coordinate identified user technical needs with others in the KM / Web Services division and throughout the IT department.
-Provide review and oversight of assigned associate rank web developers work product and deliverables.
-Effective communicate and coordinate user needs with firm management.
-Maintain awareness of fiscal impact of technical operations and functions.
-Adhere to highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.
-Attend professional development and training sessions on a regular basis.
-Participate in and lead special projects as assigned by management.df-tc


Experience/Skills
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
-3 years of demonstrated experience in the successful completion of associate rank web analyst / support engineer duties and responsibilities.
-Previous experience in the professional services / Accounting industry a plus.
-3+ years of experience with the following technologies: HTML, JavaScript, Active Server Pages, Microsoft Internet Information Server ( IIS ), Apache Tomcat, Microsoft SQL Server, Java Server Pages, and other internet technologies in the production and publishing of internet and / or intranet websites.
-Experience with Vignette Content Management system (or competitive product).
-Previous experience in the application of KM best practices in the publishing of information systems content a plus.
-Ability to work with minimal supervision.
-Excellent written and oral communications skills.
-Strong training and presentation skills in individual and group settings.
-Proven ability to effectively multitask with strong attention to detail.
-Ability to integrate procedural steps and processes with technical requirements and system functions to ensure successful delivery of work.
-Project management skills including planning, requirements gathering, and project team coordination. Project Management Professional certification a plus.
-Report status as requested for projects with primary and oversight-level responsibilities.
-Team oriented, flexible, and able to work in an ambiguous and/or changing work environment.
