SCOPE
This effort involves advisory and assistance support services in accordance with the current Army regulatory and policy directives. This effort requires that the candidate is responsible for redeveloping the U.S. Army Civilian Personnel On-Line (CPOL) Web page. This will involve developing a graphic design that effectively communicates the ideas being promoted by the Web site. It will involve initial planning meetings, meeting with the client to discuss ideas for the layout and organization of the site, the types of colors or images to use (photos, illustrations, videos, etc.), and other matters concerning the overall graphic design.
Translate the client s marketing or informational content into a functional website.
Mapping or outlining a Website s structural content.
Creating or editing images and graphics for CPOL use.
Determining all coding requirements for CPOL creation including: E-commerce capability, forms and specialized scripts.
Creating templates of approved CPOL layout.
Coding CPOL using HTML, or GUI design software.
Coordinating with programmers for specialized scripts.
Creating verbal content for CPOL or using approved content from the client.
Integrating verbal content with site design for final product.
Posting completed site to Internet server using FTP software.
Making changes to CPOL as directed by the client.
Submitting completed CPOL search engines.
Must Have:
Active Secret Clearance
Hands on experience with Adobe Master Collection CS4, HTML, and GUI Design
Candidate will be interacting with high level Army personnel, so outstanding written and verbal communication is a must.
