Senior Web Developer - .NET/C#

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate is a self-driven individual with capabilities of designing and implementing complex Web solutions. The candidate will be responsible to design, develops, and support solutions for high scale, high performance, multi-tiered Web applications. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, analytical in nature, and innovative with strong communication skills who thrives in a collaborative fast-paced dynamic environment.

Essential Duties:

• Provide professional recommendations of technology to revolutionize the approach of designing, building, supporting, enhancing over 60 critical Web applications.
• Help with a rapid conversion, to move over 60 sites from various platforms (ASP classic, Cold Fusion, .Net) to a CMS/Portal environment within a year.
• Collaborating closely other with others on design, development, testing, documentation, and production tasks in support of the business objectives and business success.

Education & Experience:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science (or related discipline), advanced industry certifications or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of Web based development experience across multiple environments
• Experience in delivering Enterprise Class, multi-tiered, high volume, customer-facing solutions.

Core Competencies:

• Experience developing and integrating with CMS/Portal Environments.
• Outspoken and passionate about delivering well designed solutions that exceed business objectives and drive business success.
• Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
• Experience building or managing high-volume, scalable applications (>1,000 requests per minute)
• Must have experience in non-Microsoft technologies such as ColdFusion or PHP
• Must have a development background with proven track record as a developer, ideally .NET, C#, & VB.
• Strong experience in a Microsoft development technologies and environments.
