We have an immediate need for a Senior Web Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our group is dedicated to quality, semantic, standards compliant development hand written code - not a contract firm that focuses on quantity. If youre the right person for this job, you will appreciate the distinction.

We seek a gifted front-end developer with effective communication and listening skills, who is comfortable with both independence and teamwork. You strive to be the best at what you do and are as good if not better than the other members of your group, but it doesnt go to your head. You are a team player and passionate about having a sound standards complaint basis for all your development. You neednt be a graphic design artist, as long as you understand how code and design interact, and embrace the principles of web standards and accessibility.

Some specific requirements:
- You must have a bachelors degree or equivalent in computer science or related fields with at least three years work experience.
- Strong skills in developing web applications with HTML, and CSS 2+, JavaScript, and Ajax a must, with the ability to efficiently hand code everything.
- Experience with modern JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, Prototype, Scriptaculous, etc. required.
- Experience working closely with developers using server-side presentation technologies such as: JSP, Velocity, Tiles, Sitemesh, etc.
- Experience with Web MVC Frameworks such as Struts, Spring MVC, Rails/Grails, etc. or action-based frameworks such as JSF, Wicket, Tapestry is highly recommended.
- Some experience with Web Content Management Systems (CMS) is helpful.
