Kaiser Permanente, parterning with Genesis10 Consulting, is seeking an experienced developer/tester for a 6-month contract in Oakland, CA.

The Component Integration Test (CIT) provides in depth domain expertise and experience to participate in the planning and execution of all component integration testing activities supporting Kaiser Permanente’s Internet application and portal site development. The CIT Contractor Manager will operate the CIT testing team in accordance with KP-IT Comprehensive Delivery Process methodology while applying industry standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:
* The primary responsibility of this position includes leadership in all areas of WDG’s CIT planning, design, automation as well as the leadership of the CIT Testing execution of all WDG CIT efforts.
* This person will assist with the establishment of CIT standards to ensure at all times that the test strategy, plan, test case portfolios, methodology and procedures established by the project manager are followed and implemented throughout the project life cycle. This position also leads the development and execution of configuration management test case scenarios which include installations, build and deployment procedures successfully according to the test plan.
* In addition, the CIT Contractor Manager is responsible for: providing inputs for continuous improvements of common CIT work processes, standards, and tools; providing domain expertise and recommendations for adoption of quality assurance best practices; developing QA documentation, including test scenarios, cases and data; programming automated testing tools, including developing scripts; executing tests and reporting metrics and results to various groups and management.
* Analyze functional requirements, database design/redesign, and API/Method designs. Review all implementation, design, and functional specifications.
* Provide leadership in the development and automation of test scripts and custom test harnesses.

Manager will not pay a special overtime rate for this position.
