POSITION SUMMARY: The responsibility of this position is to test complex Web applications for accuracy, performance and stability. Test plan creation, automation and execution. Documentation and tracking of program defects.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Testing of complex Web and Windows-based software product platform. Test plan creation, automation and execution. Document and track program defects.
KNOWLEDGE: Required: Broad knowledge of .Net, C#, Scripting languages, Web services, HTML, SQL, IIS. Experience with Testing Frameworks like Fit and nUnit.
Preferable but not required: Experience with Mercury Quality Center tools. Knowledge of brokerage/Financial Services systems is a plus.
SKILLS and ABILITIES: Must have a passion for analysis and testing. Strong technical skills and raw intellectual ability. Strong organization and prioritization skills are required. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and the ability to adapt and learn. Ability to understand business strategy. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required. 3+ years of professional experience as a Developer or Tester.
