We are searching for a world class Senior Web / UI Designer to work on next generation sports focused virtual destination. Company recently funded by a tier 1 VC and is growing rapidly.

JOB TITLE:
Senior Web Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a FULL-TIME, ON-SITE SENIOR WEB DESIGNER who can design great mockups within defined virtual world art and UI styles. The designer will work collaboratively with both internal and external teams to create final assets for our gaming platform. The designer should be proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and have a strong understanding of ActionScript 3. Qualified candidates MUST have an online portfolio of work that showcases artistic/technical ability.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
* Online portfolio of work showcasing artistic/technical ability
* Proficient with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash
* Strong understanding of Flash ActionScript 3
* Thorough understanding of professional web standards
* Strong communication and organization skills
* Can quickly adapt to change in a growing company
* Virtual world/game design experience a plus
* Familiarity with Flex a BIG plus
* Interest in sports and casual online games both big pluses

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
* Bachelor's Degree from four-year University required or similar training ideally focused on web design
* Minimum of 5 years experience as a professional-level Web Designer
* List of URLs/online portfolio. Please give SPECIFIC details about your level of involvement (concept, art, code, programming, etc.) on each project
* Familiarity with current trends in web design
