These are multiple positions in northern Delaware. The client is a Fortune 50 company. This is a challenging, dynamic environment. Their main UNIX systems are Solaris, though they have a variety or other flavors as well. At this moment they need several strong Websphere Administrators to work in a predominantly Solaris environment. This position requires experience with installation and configuration of Websphere.

Some more details: Senior level with a minimum of 2 years supporting a large scale IBM Websphere V5 environment. Must understand and support WAS from an Operations perspective - not that of a developer. Required to have a complete knowledge of the adminconsole with all of its configuration abilities and a complete knowledge of the ND version of WAS. - Deployment Manager, NodeAgent and Application Servers.
Understands integration of the WAS components in a Federated Multi Node environment. Understands what files are being updated when changes are made thru the
adminconsole.

Very long-term, strong potential to be hired direct. This client uses consultants as a "pool" of resources to hire from. Contracts are written for months, but good people stay there years (anyone who is good and wants to stay will be there years).
