Description
My direct client is looking for a very strong zSeries Engineer/Administrator (hands-on) with zLinux/VM OS implementation experience to assist with a conversion from IBM xSeries to IBM zSeries hardware.

Experience supporting VM and zLinux OS is required.

The client is also converting their Oracle applications and Websphere implementation to the new environment, so knowledge of these tools is required.

Knowledge of Palisades software is a real PLUS.

This is estimated to be a 6-9 month project in Newport Beach, CA starting in early 2007.
