Enjoy your work and your life. Legacy Health System is seeking an experienced Server Administration Lead. Legacy Health System is a dynamic organization based in the beautiful Pacific Northwest city of Portland, Oregon. Legacy Health System is one of the largest not for profit healthcare organizations in the state and is still growing. The Legacy System includes two tertiary hospitals, two community hospitals plus a new 220-bed state of the art hospital in Vancouver, Wa., scheduled for completion in the Fall of 2005, the largest children's hospital in Oregon, the oldest home health agency in Oregon, a full research facility and primary clinics
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall integration of server and client operating systems, including planning, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of server and client environments. Top-level technical contributor. Serves as a role model and resource for other server staff. Provides leadership and promotes team building among staff. Facilitates communication between staff, management and customers. Strongly prefer experience in the following areas: Active Directory, Desktop Software Deployment, Novell technologies, Citrix, and Microsoft technologies. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience. Five to seven years experience in a client server environment and related hardware/software. Experience in a multi-platform operating environment.
