Overview:

Piper Jaffray is looking for a Server Engineer with 5+ years of experience. This individual will be a member of a team that manages the Electronic Communications environment. Responsibilities include in the following: providing direction, and maintaining and supporting the existing Electronic Communications environment.

Requirements:

  • Excellent track record for supporting, maintaining, designing and engineering a Microsoft-based Electronic Communications environment.
  • Excellent track record for supporting, maintaining, designing and engineering a Wintel-based Server environment.
  • Strong server security hardening and vulnerability patching skill set required.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate product and/or project strategy to team members, project team members, and key stakeholders.
  • Communicate updates to management for project status and/or current activities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills, outstanding quantitative and organizational skills, self motivation, and a proven ability to work as part of a team.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Microsoft Windows 2000 / 2003, Active Directory, Exchange 2003 management
