SERVER ENGINEER
High Point, NC

High Point Regional is seeking an excellent team player and customer-oriented Server Engineer to coordinate maintenance, upgrades and documentation of work on servers.

Specifically, responsibilities include: capacity planning, performance tuning, upgrades, backups, migration, and troubleshooting for Novell, Microsoft, HP-UX and Red Hat Linux servers.

Requirements include:

• At least two high-level certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, CCEA, and/or MCNE.
  
• Bachelor's in Computer-related field or equivalent experience, technical training and certification.
  
• 6 years' experience in a server support position.
  
• Excellent knowledge of networking protocols, Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Email, Unix, Linux, Server Clustering, Avocent, Citrix, and server monitoring tools.
  
• Experience with storage technology tools including EMC SAN, EMC Centerra, EMC CDL and Veritas NetBackup a plus.
  
• Excellent working knowledge of Enterprise Norton Antivirus, SMS and IIS as well as Apache and Tomcat Web Servers a plus.
  
• Dell PowerEdge server certification a plus.
