Server Engineer Specialist

Responsibilities:
This consultant will be providing server build support for an international refresh project that is scheduled to last approximately 6+ months. Will be primarily responsible for building and configuring a variety of servers running under VMware including domain controller, file print servers, and applications servers. In addition, there will approximately 17 VMware ESX servers that will need to be built. This person will be compiling and consolidating information from various business units on what needs to be built. This will include creating Statements of Work and documents of understanding.

Required skills:
*Strong background building and configuring domain controllers, file print servers and application servers.
*Any experience building VMware servers would be a huge plus.
*Candidates must be willing and motivated to learn VMware ESX very quickly.
*Ability to read technical information and comprehend it with a quick learning curve is a must have. *Extensive knowledge of network operating systems, server management, and Enterprise network infrastructure.
*Capable diagnosing hardware/software problem. Strong documentation skills are a must.
*Needs to be able to provide samples of documentation.
*In addition, this person must have experience creating and presenting statements of work and documents of understanding.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
