Description
Responsibilities include: support and maintain servers according to documented procedures; respond to servers alerts and troubleshoot technical problems; implement server changes following change management procedures; administer user accounts and participate in account auditing process. Perform quarterly server audits for all system logs and local account policies. Disable and delete inactive accounts; audit and implement release of server security Microsoft patches as they become available; provide support for the Citrix server; develop and update operational processes and procedures. Provide 24x7 server support. Weekend maintenance work involved.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS DESIRED (MUST BE JOB RELATED):Minimum 4 years experience providing server support; minimum 2 years experience providing customer support.MCSE certification.Windows 2000/NT administration skills and experiences are required.Knowledge of Networking/TCP/IP and TSM/Tivoli.Working knowledge of Active Directory.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Should be a self-starter.Ability to provide 24x7 on call, periodic weekend support is required.
