Description
This position will support the Patriot program, an enterprise Information Technology O&M program in Chantilly, VA. The successful applicant will assists users in accessing and resolving desktop computer and telephone hardware and software problems. The Service Desk Customer Support Technician will schedule conference rooms, meet-me numbers, and video conferences and assist customers to resolve scheduling conflicts. The Service Desk Customer Support Technician will assist customers in the completion of WEB based request forms and provide technical support to customers through telephone and e-mail communications and walk-ins. Responsibilities include coordination of incident/problem solving efforts between customers and remote site personnel, software support, and investigation and analysis of product problems. Solves desktop incidents/problems related to information and voice systems hardware, operating systems and configuration. Troubleshoots and conducts research to facilitate customer/user productivity. Coordinates referrals to appropriate technical, professional or service personnel for appropriate services, repairs, training and follow-up.

This position requires 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift support. The Service Desk shifts will also include duties that may include: User Account Creation, server and data backup, software upgrades and other responsibilities as required.

Required Skills
? One year experience in customer call center
? Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
? The applicant will demonstrate, during an interview, competent listening and speaking skills and respectful/professional mannerisms.
