Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Service Desk Support Analyst to join our team in Beverly Hills, California.

Job Responsibilities:
This position will be supporting a large healthcare/hospital in Southern California. This support includes level one and level two phone support for network devices, multiple platforms and operating systems(UNIX, INTEL, LINUX, HP, IBM, Dell and Windows). The Service Desk Support Analyst's goal is to resolve 80% of the calls across multiple platforms using Help Desk Institute First-call Resolution guidelines.

Required Skills:
  • 1-2 years experience in Help Desk/Call Center environment providing client support via phone/e-mail.
  • Mid-level MS Office Suite application support experience (e.g., Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access)
  • Ability to communicate verbally and/or in writing technical information to non-technical clients.
  • High call volume experience a must (30+ calls per day minimum)

    Desired Skills:
  • Experience with handheld devices (e.g., Blackberry, Palm, Trio)
  • Experience in a healthcare environment a plus
  • Additional MS Office suite experience with Calendars and PST files preferred
  • Active Directory experience a plus

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and working towards technical-related degree (i.e., Computer Science, MIS)

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • A+ Certification a plus but not required
  • Membership in the Help Desk Institute a plus
  • MCP or working towards MCSE preferred.
