Description
PEROT SYSTEMS CORPORATION is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a SERVICE DESK SUPPORT ANALYST to join our team in HUNTINGTON, WV.

Job Responsibilities:
* Shared Responsibility for installation, configuration, administration, and system security of a multi-server environment which includes Microsoft Windows, adheres to strong (industry standard) systems administration techniques and procedures, in a healthcare environment.

Works with client/internal team to help establish the standards of system architecture, data communications, and system security; disseminates those standards to all employees to ensure program wide compliance.

Executes the installation, documentation, and maintenance of software supported in all company computer activities applicable to site specific systems.

Responsible for the backup of data, including automatic backup routines, deployment/management of thin client solutions, and routine support of medical billing and EHR solutions, as well as, support of centralized helpdesk environment staff in traditional Windows support environment.

Aids in the production of all network, system, security, and user documentation.

Engages in personal professional development to stay current with the demands of the position; is a positive influence for the effective use of technology. Performs additional related duties as assigned.*

Required Skills:



  • *2+ years of hands-on experience with server applications in a Microsoft networked environment.*

  • * Experience with Windows 2003 Server*

  • * Practical experience with midrange TCP/IP LAN/WAN network Troubleshooting*

  • * Traditional support/resolution for Windows ADS environment and associated windows platform office suite.*

  • * Some off hours support required *


Desired Skills:



  • * Experience with thin client technology*

  • * Experience in workstation imaging*

  • * Experience with remote desktop support*

  • * Exposure to healthcare billing applications and Electronic Health Record applications*

  • * Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware and software. *

  • * Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills. *

  • * Demonstrated ability to be a team player and willingness to lend a hand with any project. *


Minimum Educational Requirements:



  • *Associates Degree or equivalent experience*
