Position Title: Service Desk Support Specialist





Duration: 5 monthTemp to Hire





Location: Crystal City, VA





Clearance: Secret (must be able to acquire)







PROJECT OVERVIEW:


Support ranges from application deployment and maintenance, functional subject matter expertise, technical system administration, data management, and analysis. Applications include the client/server housing system referred to as HOMES3, a web-based Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product developed by Yardi Systems.





REQUIRED: 3-5 years of experience



REQUIRED SKILLS:

Required Operating Systems: Windows 2003, Windows XP


Required Hardware: Standard desktop, Windows servers


Required Software: Microsoft Office 2000 or higher


Required Technical Languages: SQL


Required Management/Strategy Consulting Skills: Position requires strong communication skills, ability to work with customers and users to recognize and understand customer needs and provide recommendations for solutions. Must function productively in a close-knit team environment.


Required Other: Some DBMS knowledge, awareness of standard system/network security requirements.




DESIRED SKILLS:

Desired Operating Systems: Knowledge of Windows XP/2003 administration (accounts, groups, services)

Desired Software: Experience with Visio, Crystal Reports, IQ Reports, HEAT, and/or Remedy
