Mission

The Service Engineer provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interpretscustomers' needs and clarifies if the responsibility for the problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers.

Key Responsibilities

* Follows established policies and procedures when performing on-site service
* Logs and reports field service work performed
* Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system
* Provides technical support for customers with routine problems
* Provides on-site support to cusotmers including preventative maintenance, installation, modification, and repair

Core Requirements

* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently
* BS Degree in Physics or other related discipline or a combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the required skills.
* Typically requires no experience, or an AA degree with 1-3 years of related experience
* Entry into this level is determined by management's assessment of your performance, skills, and abilitiesdf-tc
