Description
CDI is currently looking for a Service/Installation Technician - Electro/Mechanical Technician with Assoc. Deg. and minimum 2 years experience in trouble shooting and repair, to component level, of electronic and video/optical equipment.

Responsibilities include providing technical product support and hands-on service at customer sites, regarding troubleshooting and repair of complex electronic equipment, including PCs, video cameras, optics, illumination systems, integrated circuits, printed circuit boards and schematics. Additional responsibilities include providing training in equipment operation, maintenance and repair, and hands-on service in the installation, alignment, test and repair of equipment at customer sites; and maintaining equipment and customer documentation for continued improvement and customer satisfaction. This position will also be required to offer technical assistance in support of customer sales efforts from time to time as may be necessary. Must be willing to travel and work with minimum supervision.
Experience providing telephone and on-site customer service support in repair and maintenance of electronic equipment, experience with Windows NT, CPU set-up, oscilliscopes, schematics and general test equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Interest and ability to assist in sales efforts would be a big plus.df-tc
