Description
Full service electrical contracting company seeks talented Service Manager to join their growing team. The Service Manager will financially monitor service work to ensure that costs are within budget/profit goals, taking corrective action when needed. The candidate will oversee/manage the incoming service and small project requests process including scheduling and close out. The Service Manager will explore and cultivate new areas of growth and business development for the service group, while monitoring all billing and collections to ensure maximum cash flow. The candidate will provide accurate and timely revenue forecasts and meet with customers and/or representatives as needed to review and define project installation or service work. Additionally responsibilities include soliciting feedback from customers to ensure the highest standard of quality, and acting upon the feedback conducting project inspections as needed. The candidate will review and process technology to improve efficiency of the service group and provide technical assistance for all field personnel when needed. Experience/Skills
The qualified candidate will have eight or more years of experience in network/voice service operations with a minimum of three years at a management level. A four year college degree in business or a related field is preferred, but not required, and candidate must have good analytical/interpersonal skills. The candidate must have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to motivate, counsel, and train others in business functions while being guided by corporate strategies and management direction.
