Service Representative
Location: Atlanta , Ga.
Job Description Responsible for maintaining the Data Center loading dock, shipping and receiving functions, equipment staging center, and distribution functions internal to the Data Center to maintain accurate IT asset records and tracking of equipment. Responsible for implementing and maintaining defined asset tracking standards across both data centers.
Responsible for updating and maintaining IT asset id information
Responsible for the receipt and distribution of server and IT hardware.
Responsible for the replenishment of inventory used by the building staff
Serve as a distribution point for components requiring repair, refurbishing, or retirement
Perform all tracking, shipping, and receiving of IT assets assigned to the primary Data Centers.
First point of contact for all assets to be installed or removed from the Data Centers.
Responsible for performing weekly asset counts for both the pre-stage and staged equipment.
Assist as needed with additional Data Center installation tasks.
Ensure timely package and mail delivery to the executive area within the Data Center .
Job Requirements Experience with Data Center racking configurations, Server installations and/or Networking a plus. Experience with Asset Center a plus. Proven experience with asset tracking and or staging equipment a plus. High school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Must be able to move, on a regular basis, large equipment that weighs at least 50 pounds. Previous airline experience a plus.
Must be able to pass Drug Screen, FBI Criminal & Fingerprint Background check (SIDA & Custom Seal) to meet company badging requirements for any employee(s) working at an airport facility
