Description
We are not looking for a senior level Sharepoint person – only around 3 years of experience will do. This person does not need to have C# background, InfoPath will work. This opportunity involves 80% new Development and 20% Maintenance. This opportunity does not involve Legacy 2003, all new MOSS. We need someone that can come to a meeting and articulate what he/she is doing to non-technical people. We are not looking for a heads-down coder. There are currently 8 People on the team – Project Manager, QA Tester and several .NET developers. This person will get a Blackberry to be on call. DESCRIPTIONResponsible for daily system support, project related activities and business process support. Activities include InfoPath form development, maintenance, and technical support to the business community. Analyze business needs and work with process analysts to develop SharePoint solutions to increase efficiency, streamline processes and increase collaboration. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform software installation and configuration, problem analysis, and troubleshooting Work with QA Staff to develop and execute test plans Plan and implement the installation, configuration, integration, testing, and management of SharePoint within IT processes Provide technical Tier 3 support for database, network, InfoPath, web components and MOSS Ability to help define and implement enterprise search strategy Identify and implement enterprise taxonomy Develop custom SharePoint web parts Identify and resolve problems affecting reliability, availability, and supportability Provide technical assistance and direction for Tier 2 application support team Consult and collaborate with business, IT staff and management Monitor, analyze, recommend, and implement service improvements to enhance customer satisfaction, resource utilization, and overall satisfaction Design and document processes to enhance manageability, usability, and performance Design, develop, implement and manage Active Directory integration Monitor and report system performance and overall status. Strong information architecture skills

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No direct reports. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATION and EDUCATIONAL AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Candidate should be team oriented as well as possess the ability to work independently. Qualifications include: Four-year college diploma or university degree in related field, or equivalent work experience Strong working knowledge of InfoPath forms and SharePoint integration Demonstrated knowledge of standard SharePoint 2007 concepts, practices, and procedures Familiarity with Active Directory, ASP.NET and SQL Server 2005 An understanding of HIPAA Transactions and Code Set Regulations is a plus Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent listening and interpersonal skills Highly self-motivated and directed Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Strong customer service orientation
