Description
12 month assignment near Sabine Park in Houston, TX. HOUSTON-BASED CANDIDATES ONLY. The SharePoint Administrator will participate in the architectural design, development, customization and integration efforts of enterprise solutions involving Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and Business Intelligence. Utilize Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007), Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS 3.0), SharePoint Designer 2007 and various other .NET components. Responsibilities:
Design and code application modifications, enhancements or development
Plan, develop, and execute Unit tests
Participate in product test execution and User Acceptance testing as required
Perform root cause analysis
Ensure work meets functional and performance standards
Conduct structured walk-throughs or inspections; resolve issues
Ensure quality standards are followed
May share some architect responsibilities for analysis, design, technical guidance, and impact analysis
Assist in work planning and scheduling as delegated by the Team Lead
Communicate with users as required
Follow company methodology and standards in development process
Document design according to agreed standards
Responsible for sharing knowledge to others with an emphasis on maintaining work flows and quality standards
Work with the team members to ensure adequate development of staff skills
Develop client relationships within own specialty
Provide input into work planning process
Must have skills/qualification:
The preferred candidate will have the following:
1 - 2 years MOSS 2007 Admin experience
Knowledge of business workflows with an understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, and SharePoint Designer 2007
Experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and Forms, and/or Business Intelligence
Experience with SharePointdf-tc
