SharePoint Application Analyst

For this position, you will play a critical role in the implementation and functional support of a complex enterprise web services solution, at an Enterprise level, across all Regions and the System Office of this not-for-profit health system that provides a comprehensive array of services. There are openings for Level 1, 2, 3, and 4 Application Analysts, and your knowledge of theory and principles specific to content management solutions will determine your position level.

The Level 1 Analyst will:

• Demonstrate basic knowledge that is recognized by other members of the department and business partners
  
• Support one aspect or application module
  
• Perform with direction from other team members, managers, or directors
  
• Apply basic and working principles and concepts to the application area

The Level 2 Analyst will:

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge that is recognized by other members of the department, business partners, and the user community
  
• Support one or more application modules of moderate complexity
  
• Perform with a high degree of independence on small to moderate projects and assignments
  
• Demonstrate working knowledge of the business use of the applications
  
• Apply complex principles and concepts for the application area
  
• Play an active role in complex projects (software implementation and upgrades) as a business/technical collaborator, subject matter resource, and task/assignment resource

The Level 3 Analyst will:

• Demonstrate thorough and detailed knowledge and subject matter expertise that is recognized by members of the department, business partners, and the user community
  
• Support several moderately to highly complex and tightly integrated applications
  
• Perform with broad independence on moderate to large projects and assignments
  
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the business use of the applications
  
• Use a wide assortment of complex principles and concepts for the application area
  
• Play an active role in complex projects (software implementations and upgrades)
  
• Work with functional management, subject matter experts, and others to analyze, recommend, and implement solutions to business requirements
  
• Train business super users and SMEs

The Level 4 Analyst will:

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and subject matter expertise recognized by members of the department, business partners, and the user community
  
• Excel in simultaneous support of multiple highly complex and tightly integrated applications
  
• Perform independently on all levels of projects and assignments
  
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge about the business use of the application and the potential impact of decisions on other application areas
  
• Train others in use of a wide assortment of complex principles and concepts to the appropriate application area
  
• Lead complex projects (software implementation, upgrades)
  
• Work with functional management, SMEs, and others to design and implement organizational best practices informed by the knowledge from industry practices and benchmarks
  
• Fulfill the responsibilities of the Application Director in their absence

The responsibilities of the SharePoint Application Analyst will include:

• Reporting to the assigned Manager or Director
  
• Operating at the Enterprise level
  
• Coordinating with software vendors, internal customer management, subject matter experts, Regional business partners, super users, and the general user community
  
• Developing strong lateral relationships with the team and Directors of other application areas (Level 3 and 4)

• 3+ years related work experience
  
• Experience with SharePoint 2003 or 2007 (Level 3 and 4)
  
• Understanding of content management systems and web parts
  
• Understanding of publishing practices
  
• Bachelors degree in a related field
  
• Experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus
