SharePoint Developer/ArchitectLocation: Houston, TXJob Description:As a developer you will/have: * Knowledge of SharePoint as a collaborative solutions platform * In-depth knowledge of installing and supporting SharePoint * Assist clients with business requirements for their SharePoint and Office System based solutions. Assist with the Information Architecture (taxonomy) appropriate to each particular client and take the design all the way through the solution Life-Cycle * Build applications using Internet and Windows Development tools. Manage, develop, integrate and implement related applications components, including front-end development, server-side development and database integration * Lead complete software development lifecycle, including analysis. Design, code and unit test, for Information Worker applications based on Microsoft technologies, especially .NET, web services and SQL * Develop web pages and applications for customers * Provide technical consultation in new systems development, new package evaluations, and enhancement of existing systems * Prepare functional specifications from which programs will be written; design, code, test, debug, and document programs * Define architecture principles, styles and standards for systems across the enterprise, and creates architectural mechanisms to address concerns that have broad impact * Deliver high-quality solutions to customers to ensure their investment in technology is consistent with their business objectives * Contribute to the intellectual capital such as white papers and presentationsQualifications KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS (TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL):You will have demonstrated proficiency in the following: * .NET Framework (ASP/ASP.NET, C , C#, Visual Basic .NET- required Database SQL (Query Language)) - required * SharePoint Portal Server - required * Content Management Server - a plus * BizTalk Server- a plus * Commerce Server - a plus * Good written and verbal communicationdf-tc
