SharePoint Developer

Our client is an exciting, fast-paced IT consulting and application development firm located in Atlanta. They are seeking a Developer with solid Microsoft SharePoint experience to join its growing development team. This position works independently and in small groups on multiple software development projects, and will work closely with account service resources to deliver quality solutions. This person will assist in design, architecture and review sessions with technical staff as well as hands-on development and deployment, and is expected to grow his/her skills set to meet the demands of the industry.

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Experience in designing an application and seeing it through to completion, including requirements gathering, application and database design
  • Ability to communicate with clients at all levels.
  • Ability to come up with the best solution for given requirements.
  • Ability to provide reasonably accurate estimates for projects.
  • Experience with developing standards and best practices.

  • Experience with Microsoft technologies Solid experience with SharePoint technologies (2003 Portal and Services) including development of custom web parts
  • Experience working with betas of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 is a big plus
  • Professional experience with ASP.NET programming.
  • Professional experience with Classic ASP programming and JavaScript.
  • Professional experience with MS SQL Server.
  • Professional team lead experience and mentoring junior level developers.
  • Experience with .NET Framework 2.0 - ASP.NET and WinForms, Visual Studio 2005, SQK Server 2005, Visual Studio.Net, MS Safe Source.
  • Experience with SharePoint integrated to Microsoft Dynamics (CRM, Great Plains, Project) is a plus
  • Experience with other CorasWorks and Microsoft technologies a plus (Commerce Server, BizTalk, Analysis/Reporting Services, Active Directory, CMS, etc)
