JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Individual should be able to help clients both internally and externally to identify and understand the features and functions of the Microsoft platform and how those capabilities can be brought to bear to solve customer business problems. The ideal individual should be capable of understanding and marrying process and tool capabilities together to form enterprise solutions.

The SharePoint Developer serves as the key team player during all phases of the SharePoint solution life cycle to include Concept Definition, Requirements Analysis, Analysis of Alternatives, Design, Development, Test, and Deployment.

Job Responsibilities:
* Recommend solution and development based upon organizational assessment
* Support Microsoft solution development & deployments through all phases
* Serve as the key client interface throughout solution deployment and development efforts
* Proactively identify risks and issues and drive creative solutions
* Produce training material and provide hands-on training and mentoring
* Develop/Deliver high quality deliverables and services to client. Explore and Identify additional client lead opportunities

Bachelors degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2-4 years software development experience
* Capable of developing COTS solution designs, possess experience and knowledge developing .NET applications and in particular developing applications based on the Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007 platform
* Knowledge and experience with Agile, Spiral, or Waterfall software development life cycles and the Microsoft software development platform are a plus
* Ability to interface with client
* Ability to hold a security clearance
* Candidate must reside within a 50 mile radius of Alexandria, VA or be willing to relocate themselves

Technical Skills
* ASP.NET design, development, and testing: 2-4 years experience
* C#.NET design, development, and testing: 2-4 years experience
* Microsoft SQL Server database design, development, and testing: 2-4 years experience
* Microsoft SharePoint 2007 installation and configuration: 1 years experience
* Microsoft SharePoint 2007 development (workflows, Web parts, custom pages) with .NET experience required: 2 years experience
* Microsoft SharePoint Certification a plus. Candidate must have or be able to obtain a security clearance
