SharePoint Web Developer/Administrator:International firm is seeking to expand southeast US enterprise Internet web operations. The successful candidate must have a strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with enterprise web operations; including systems architecture, development project planning, code development execution, QC oversight, solution rollout and life cycle support. Candidate must be dependable, creative, energetic, self-starter, which is comfortable working in a fast paced project-oriented atmosphere and works well within a dynamic team environment. This position is 6 month Contract-to-Hire.RESPONSIBILITIES:-Serving as SharePoint developer and Systems Administrator completing enterprise web development and operations support projects-Assist in maintaining existing code base, managing web infrastructure and adding to an already rich code base of traditional .net and SharePoint applications for current online business operations.-Working with Web Technical Leads, Project Managers, Web Designers, and Customers to create a wide variety of high-profile Web sites utilizing .net, VBScript, JavaScript, HTML, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, and other development tools.-Maintain, support, upgrade as needed a diverse Microsoft SharePoint environment.-Develop and implement web part solutions within SharePoint as defined by business operations. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field-5-8 years hands-on web development experience required-Ability to lead development efforts as well as work within a dynamic team-Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL Server 2005.-Experience developing comprehensive Internet applications utilizing .net 2.0 framework and SQL 2005-STRONG experience with advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, views and triggers with SQL Server is required-Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and SharePoint Portal environment is required-Experience with three tier web systems architecture and web farms is required. Also experience with web server(s), Email server(s) and DNS server(s) configuration, security, management and maintenance is required.-Advanced knowledge of an experience with the following web technologies and tools: -Min. 5 years experience developing web solutions utilizing a combination of ASP, ASP.net, HTML, SQL Server, IIS, COM, Visual Basic, C++ and/or similar-IT-Web systems infrastructure-Specifically Windows 2003 Servers and later as well as IIS -Client Side JavaScript is also a plus-Experience as a SQL DBA on projects and web backend infrastructure is required-In-depth knowledge and working experience with Visual Studio and VSSPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:-Self-starter-Self motivated-Commitment to organization and Projects -Highly organized and disciplined work habits-High level of professionalism and strong work ethic-Effective written and verbal communications skills-Strong attention to detail
