This position is for the world's largest software company, headquartered in Redmond, Washington.

We are a small team working on updating the shared computer toolkit, an application targeted towards shared access environments such as internet cafes, libraries, and schools. Such environments typically have operators that are not IT-savvy and are not able to easily manage the computers in their environment. Our application helps operators in these environments by making management of such systems easier for non-IT-savvy operators. We shipped our first version last September, and are hard at work on the second version of this product. This position would be one of a small group of developers working on updating our code base to make it more modular and adding new functionality for the next version. Responsibilities will include re-factoring parts of the code base, creating new GUI components using Win32 programming, and bug fixing.

Candidates must be passionate about creating new innovative products and be able to work in a self-directed manner. It's expected that candidates will have at least 5 years experience with C, C++, MFC, and COM. Win32 GUI programming skills and experience are also a must. A good working knowledge of the Windows operating system will also be a plus.
