Description
Robert Half Technology is accepting applications for a Sharepoint Architect to work on business mapping, documentation, taxonomy and topology for our local client on a three to six month contract role. This is a great opportunity to work directly with their super users to generate the information needed to layout the most effective means for internal documentation. Our client uses Sharepoint 2007 and their site has already been implemented. Our client is seeking the Sharepoint Architect to customize it to their business. What this is not is a Sharepoint development position with C#, or Sharepoint administration from a technical perspective. The ideal candidate is an analyst and super user of Sharepoint, who can quickly ramp up on a client's internal business and create a Sharepoint site to reflect that. This is a great contract opportunity in Seattle where you can make a big impact with a high profile client, and given free reign to do so!
    Duties include:
  • Working with high level users to map out the taxonomy of the organization, and translate that to an internal Sharepoint site.
  • Requirements gathering, documentation and cross-functional group interaction will be key.

Experience/Skills
  • 3+ years of experience as an analyst, focusing heavily on duties such as requirements gathering, documentation and even project management experience as needed.
  • 1+ years of professional experience with Sharepoint 2003 or 2007.
  • 2+ years of experience with business mapping, taxonomy, documentation and topology.
