Job Description

The candidate's responsibilities will include: 1) Development leadership within project teams, providing a strong level of guidance and coaching for other developers on corporate standards (best practices, version control), providing significant consultation to Application Architects on the features / functions of the Sharepoint platform in terms of project requirements. 2) He or she will also participate in production implementations, providing testing support, and support of end-users in a tiered escalation support model (third tier). 3) Development and support responsibilities are split (60% - Development / Consultation) / (40% Testing and Operational Support). On-call duty is required.

Experience/Skills
MUST HAVE Requirements

1) Sharepoint Portal Development, ASP.Net Development, WSS. 2) The successful candidate for this position will have 3+ years experience developing, testing, and supporting an enterprise-class installation of Sharepoint Portal and 4-5 years experience developing on Microsoft .NET based platforms. 3) 4+ years of experience using supporting technologies, specifically Internet Information Server, Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Windows Sharepoint Services 2003 (WSS), Microsoft Content Manager Server 2002, and Microsoft Search / Indexing technology is required. 4) The candidate should also have 3-4 years experience in ASP.NET, .NET Framework (1.1, 2.0), C#, and 3+ years designing, developing, and testing .NET based Sharepoint WebParts. 5) Additionally, strong working knowledge of Virtual Server / Virtual PC, Active Directory and DNS is a plus.
