Our client has a large systems center located in North Charleston, SC that requires a Web Developer/Administrator who is certified in compliance with the DoD 8570 Directive for an enterprise level SharePoint 2007 Portal. The candidate will be taking on a support role to the lead SharePoint Portal Administrator and Content Manager on site.Duties will include content management, designing, developing, and maintaining variousSharePoint Portal Projects. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities asSharePoint Administrator: Participate in the Installation, Configuration, and Deployment of SharePoint FarmsUpgrading and Patching of SharePoint and its’ related systemsAuthentication and Security Configuration, Analysis, and Tuning of Search FunctionsBackup Configuration, Implementation, and MonitoringDisaster Recovery and High Availability Planning, Configuration, and Testing. System Monitoring and Log AnalysisPerformance Analysis and TuningParticipate in escalation and support activities (being on-call)Integration with our Identity Management SystemDeploy and configure sites, lists and web partsCreate site and list templatesMoving content and configuration changes from Staging Environment to Production
