. This position represents the journey level position within design engineering.
. This position will be accountable for contributing to the concept, development and design of complex components, subsystems or processes.
. This position performs complex analysis work, identifies design problems, and resolves problems.
. Although this position may be the transition from individual contributor to team leadership, the major focus of the job is on technical delivery.
. Incumbents may work more directly with different units, suppliers, and/or customers. Fit, form and function as well as Slot and tab experience desireable.

DAILY DUTIES: Part of team with a team leader; responsible for fit, form and fuction. Design sheetmetal structures for slot-in-tab. This will eliminate fixtures. There will be daily interaction with many groups/teams.

Experience/Skills
. BS Engineering degree or equivalent experience and excellent analytical skills.
. Analysis skills, Pro/E, Wildfire, Pro Sheetmetal (or equivalent).
. >2 years of design experience and ability to perform complex assignments.
. Self-starter with strong technical leadership skills.
. Ability to commuicate technical information effectively with team members and others in the work group, as well as employees in other units, customers, and suppliers.

Other desired skills:
. BS Engineering degree or equivalent experience and excellent analytical skills.
