This individual will serve as an Apps Admin/EAI & EIM & EIM Specialist, providing Siebel application support and end user technical support for Siebel eCommunication 7.5. This individual is responsible for maintaining and updating the architecture, ensuring the health of the systems and databases, ensuring the operational run books are accurate and maintained, performing overall daily management of Siebel applications environment, and performing operational tasks and activities (e.g., monitoring log files, run batch jobs, patching, performance tuning, writing Unix shell scripts, etc.). Individual will meet with client project and development staff to insure quality installation of new releases and the continued operation of the platform and will comply with BearingPoint's standard operating procedures, and ensure BearingPoint's Siebel users are treated courteously and provided a positive trouble ticket reporting experience.

Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and resolve trouble tickets for BearingPoint clients involving Siebel applications. Perform operational tasks and activities (e.g., application monitoring, application migration between environments, patching, performance tuning, etc.) to ensure BeaingPoint client service level metrics are maintained or exceeded. Assist as needed with the installation and configuration of Siebel Application Server, Actuate Reporting Server, Siebel Analytics Server, Informatica Server, IIS Web Server, and FTP Server. Provide technical support for a complex, high availability Siebel architecture i.e. experience with Clustering, Resonate Load Balancing, etc.·Maintain various interfaces to and from the application. Debug and develop necessary UNIX scripts to support Siebel application under UNIX environment. Develop and perform migration procedures between different environments. Perform assignments 7X24X365. Ensure the operational run books and accurate and maintained per BearingPoint standard operating procedures. Perform any documented procedures, batch processes, or scripts provided to them. Trouble ticket resolution and work to ensure the BearingPoint – Managed Application client service level metrics are maintained or exceeded. Coordinate work activities, ticket assignment, and ticket closure with L2 Apps Admin Specialists.

Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in Siebel Application Administration. Experience with Siebel 7.x application, EAI architecture, multi-tiered, clustered, high availability Siebel architecture. Must be proficient in SQL, SQL loader Scripts, Unix Shell Scripts, Oracle 9i database concepts, Siebel EIM tool, and Siebel EAI.Windows and UNIX Solaris OS, Oracle 9i database knowledge and must be proficient. Experience in Siebel installation and administration under Unix platform. iPlanet Web Server experience. Candidate should have knowledge about clustering and load balancing technologies.df-tc
