Description
Prestigious Professional Services Firm located in Chicagos Loop is currently seeking an experienced Siebel Analytics Developer. As a Siebel Analytics Developer you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of the Siebel Analytics related components (e.g., interfaces, conversions, etc). This position will require you to leverage your deep technical knowledge and broad Siebel experience.

Additionally, you must be able to effectively interact with client representatives, project management, and fellow team members (both inside and outside of the immediate team) in the development of solutions that address the people, process, and technology needs of the organization. Also important to your success in this position is the ability to understand business challenges and translate them into process/technical solutions.

Requires 4 to 7 years of technical experience in data warehousing, data management, data modeling and end user tools. Strong technical knowledge configuring report level security, metadata tools, and user interface designs. In-depth technical experience specifically in Business Intelligence tools focused on data modeling, meta data, and user interface is required as well as strong technical understanding of CRM process flows and how they relate to establishing data warehousing, data management, and analytic architectures. Prior external top tier consulting experience is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate has 4 to 7 years of experience working with Siebel. Responsibilities for this position include:
Technical design and development of a Siebel Analytics implementation
Configuration, scripting, and integration of Siebel Analytics
Business requirements definition, mapping, and gap analysis
Siebel analytics application design and prototyping
Test scenario definition, script development, and execution
Dashboard design and implementation
Development of technical documentation

Experience/Skills
Strong business analytical skills and the ability to understand business needs for analytical reporting and the ability to translate business needs to a logical dimensional model
Ability to convert the business requirements into design artifacts on the Siebel Business Analytics platform.
Siebel Analytics development experience -- at least one full life cycle
Experience with data warehouse design, SQL and star schema structures along with an understanding of technical architectures, including RDBMS and client-server
ETL Experience (Informatica, Ascential DataStage, Ab Initio or other tools)
Experience in relational database concepts and data modeling
Solid understanding of system development lifecycle
Strong analytical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Bachelors degree ideally in a relevant major (e.g., Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, etc.)
Strong self motivated individual with excellent analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability and comfort level communicating with senior management
Ability to adapt to changes in environment (change in project scope, team, etc.)
Siebel Core Consultant certification (version 7)
