Description
Siebel Application Engineer

This is an entry/journeyman level support position having responsibility for monitoring and troubleshooting problems and issues specific to the support of The Network Connection Siebel-based production environment. The tentative duties/responsibilities are described as follows:

1 - Support General TNC Environment.
2 - Manage change that impacts TNC
3 - Some off-hour support of TNC Environment
4 - Resolve technical infrastructure issues.
5 - Work with the security team to ensure all security policies are adhered to for granting access to prod environment
6 - Maintain strong relationships with Technical Services and Service Center
7 - Evaluate new Siebel technologies
8 - Be proactive in keeping current with Siebel news and events and up to date with Siebel technology.

Experience/Skills
. Unix, SQL required.
. Siebel internals, Auotsys, NT and DB2 preferred.
. Unix security specifically telnet client, preferred. FTP knowledge.
. Delivery Process and all appropriate development practices and standards.
. Experienced in understanding/defining infrastructure required to support a technology solution.
. Knowledge and understanding of Middleware.
