Position Summary
The Siebel Architect will be expected to provide technical leadership for all Siebel initiatives including the implementation of the Siebel eMedical 7.5.3 application and related components.

Position Details
This position will establish and manage Siebel development standards and best practices as well as test scenario definition, script development, and execution of applications. Additional responsibilities include overseeing: process definition and design; requirements definition, mapping and gap analysis; Siebel application design and prototyping; and application deployment planning and execution. Effectiveness in this role requires the candidate maintain expertise in the area of architecture, including industry trends, strategies and products to ensure assets are effectively utilized.

B.A./B.S. is required.

Experience Requirements
A minimum of 7 years experience is required. This position will require deep technical knowledge and broad Siebel experience. Additionally, the individual must be able to effectively interact with client representatives, project management and fellow team members. The candidate must also have knowledge of the following: Siebel Server and remote back-end experience; detailed understanding of Siebel 7.5 remote; server architecture, performance characteristics and underlying table structures; and Microsoft SQL Server database administration. Business intelligence requirements include: strong relational database background in data warehouse/decision support and transaction processing; physical data model development; understanding of logical and physical design; RAID storage configuration; Oracle database installation, configuration and space management; database tuning and security; and expert knowledge of PLSQL and SQL.
