Description
Our client has an immediate need for a Siebel Developer/Analyst with significant (3 to 4 yrs) Siebel Marketing and Data Warehousing / CRM experience. Candidates can be located in either Charlotte, NC or New York City, NY.

Responsibilities include:

Design and implement Marketing Configuration changes
Ensure that the Marketing application scale to meet the restated business requirements with acceptable performance and reliability
Troubleshoot Campaign processes
Map and deploy various legacy source systems into Siebel
Develop and execute test and implementation plans
Assist to develop and design data loads
Provide insight based on previous Siebel implementations
Identify areas for improvements – process / technology
Executing EIM processes to load / change Siebel OLTP


Ideal candidates must have experience with Siebel Marketing Enterprise (SME) (version 7 and up): Use of the Siebel Marketing Campaign. Proficient knowledge of the Campaign generation process. Ability to troubleshoot Segmentation results / problems. Demonstrated knowledge of migration techniques of reports and repository. Solid knowledge of Siebel Tools and Siebel Workflow.

Candidates should also have 2 of the following 3:

1. Siebel OLAP (version 7 and up): Working knowledge of the Siebel Data Warehouse: Key generation, WIDS, Slowly changing dimensions, basic table sources, etc. Concrete familiarity with OLTP-to-OLAP. Proven experience with EIM Loads.

2. Informatica (version 5 and up): Multiple project experience with Informatica. Ability to communicate design considerations using this tool. Practical experience in loading data, troubleshooting mappings, tuning mappings, etc.

3. Oracle (version 8/9i): Multi Terabyte data warehousing experience with Oracle 8/9i, demonstrates the basic ability/understanding to design data structures, performance tune data loads and performance tune queries. Ability to read/write PL/SQL.

Communication skills: Must have the ability to communicate effectively to business and technical users in both, oral and written manner. Must also be able to demonstrate ability to troubleshoot technology and business problems. Must work well independently and in a team environment

Experience/Skills
Plus Skills/Experience include:

Operating Systems: Unix AIX 5.1/5.2, Windows 2K, MVS/OS 390, AS400. Ability to navigate in these environments, ability to script technical solutions in each of these environments

Business: Demonstrated knowledge in the financial services arena focusing on Annuity Products, Mutual Funds, Brokerage, etc

Siebel Analytics (version 7.5 and up): Use of the Siebel Analytics tool. Ability to discuss the architectural components of the tool (Security, aggregation, Logical columns, etc). Demonstrated knowledge of migration techniques of reports and repository.

Other ETL Tools: DecisionStream, ETI, Ab Initio, Data Stage

Databases: Teradata, DB2/UDB

Other Siebel: Familiarity with some of the following applications: Siebel Call Center, eMail, other eMarketing, eEvents modules a plus. Knowledge in extending the Siebel schemas (OLTP & OLAP), eScript
