Silverlight Designer/Developer

Precision Resources, a division of the Trimarc Group, is seeking a Silverlight Designer/Developer for an extended contract position with one of our premiere clients in Alabama . The client needs a candidate ASAP and the contract is expected to run for, at least, 1 year.

Skills:

Silverlight, .Net, WPF, WCF, Expression Blend, C#, VB.Net, JavaScript, SQL Server

Great to have:

HTML, CSS, Flex, Dreamweaver, Flash

Overview:

*Participate in design meetings & code reviews

*Understand and implement abstract OO designs

*Write & re-factor code
*Write Unit Test
*5 Years experience in object-oriented software architectures and concepts.
*.NET (ASPX, C#, VB)
*SQL Server (TSQL, stored procedures, database schema design)
*Participate in constructive design meetings and align to the overall architectural vision

*Candidates must work well with teams, be easily approachable, and have the ability to train existing team members.

*Experience with Scrum/Agile development.
*WCF, WPF
*XML, XSLT, XML Schema

*Create MS SQL database backends, interface w/portals, standalone apps & ASP pages.

*Knowledge of Microsoft Silverlight (v2 or greater) is preferred. Familiarity with Web application coding (C#, JavaScript), Expression Blend, or other interactivity development tool experience a plus
*Strong communication and organizational skills to work collaboratively with diverse set of people and disciplines.
*Familiarity with Microsoft and competitor products and websites, and other industry standards/trends.
