Description
Provide UHF and VHF RF coverage analysis studies, engineer site installations to meet coverage requirements, create bills of material for site installations, provide technical field support for both mobile and fixed radio installations, evaluate and specify equipment, coordinate activities for equipment procurement, provide material and labor costs, coordinate installation of new equipment with existing site equipment, ensure that new equipment installations are in accordance with FCC and FAA constraints, create circuit provisioning plans and requests, create documentation for equipment installation and operation. Create RF propagation analysis data and import into GIS/mapping software, design/maintain databases as required, use network tools to analyze and trouble shoot problems, work with field forces to resolve equipment and site issues.

Experience/Skills
Engineer radio site installations to meet coverage requirement needs and installation standards, coordinate system installation with Project Managers.
Principals of RF propagation, RF transmission systems, Ground systems, basic TCP\IP operation, basic electronics background, Paradyne modem and NMS operation
Softwright Terrain Analysis Package (TAP), Micropath RF Link Analysis software, Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point), DeLorme mapping software, ESRI ArcMap and ArcView, Visio, Remedy AR
